Microprogram Information Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Microprogram”) will collect your personal data when providing the BICONNECT application services and related products (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”). You may access the entire Service only after giving your agreement. “Microprogram” collects your personal data only for the purpose of improving and providing the Service. The Policy is applicable to the personal data collected based on the causes related to the Service. “Microprogram” reserves the right to amend the Policy independently. The update hereof, if any, shall become effective as of the date when the update is announced to the public. Your continued access to the “Service” after “Microprogram” releases any notice about changes in the Policy shall constitute your agreement to the changes. Should you have any questions about the Privacy Policy of the Site or any issues about personal data, you may contact “Microprogram” in the following manner:

1. Collection of Personal Data

In order to provide you with the functions including but not limited to management of E-bike status, entry of cycling data and social network sharing, provide the product information, marketing and customer management and services and statistical analysis and carry out the business included in the registered business lines or set forth in the articles of association, subject to the nature of various services, we might collect your nickname, password, gender, date of birth, contact information (E-MAIL), shared posts (including but not limited to, the pictures, photos, videos and comments you uploaded), physical characteristics (including but not limited to, height and weight, etc.) or cycling data you provided or derived from the “Service” (including but not limited to, the brand, model No., riding time, hours consumed, distance, location information, calories consumed, cycling speed, track record and battery status of the E-bike) and any personal data identifying the user directly or indirectly or any other data to be collected pursuant to laws.

2. How “Microprogram” use your personal data

• The personal data and cycling record sufficient to identify the user as collected by the “Service” or any other personal data provided upon your agreement or collected upon your access to the Service will be processed and utilized by “Microprogram” within the scope reasonably associated with the specific purposes for the collection only. Unless it is required by performance of legal obligations or per the competent authority’s order or requirement, “Microprogram” will never make available to any third party (domestically and overseas) any personal data sufficient to identify the user or utilize the data beyond the scope defined by the specific purposes.
• “Microprogram” will provide the personal data collected by it to the brand owners of the E-bike you used to help them provide the product information, marketing, customers’ management and services.
• In addition to said specific purposes, for the purpose of improving the Service quality, “Microprogram” will, subject to the nature of the service it provided, compile the personal data it collected to make the same (exclusive of those identifying you) available to its internal staff to help improve and optimize the “Service” quality or proceed with advertising, marketing, analysis and technical service based on the analysis methods, such as AI and Big Data.
• During your access to the “Service” and the maintenance period prescribed by laws, “Microprogram” will continue to keep, process and utilize the related data derived from your access to the Service. The original logs of said personal device record and cookie record as collected will be maintained in “Microprogram” database for one month and the historical logs will be deleted on a monthly basis.
• The related data may only be utilized within the territories of the R.O.C. and the jurisdictions where said recipients of the data are situated or in connection with the surviving company of the Company through merger, division and assignment.

3. Personal Data Protection

“Microprogram” will maintain the security of your personal data with the reasonable technology and procedure in line with the modern industrial standards. For example, it will take any necessary actions to ensure (1) prevention of accidental losses of the personal information and data, (2) prevention of any access, use, destruction or disclosure without authorization, (3) service business continuity and recovery from disaster, (4) restriction on the processing and utilization of personal data, (5) the evaluation on effects posed to the privacy under the applicable laws and “Microprogram” business policy, including but not limited to:

• Installing a firewall to prevent hackers from destroying or stealing data, avoid the access to the Website without authorization, and protect the user’s interests.
• Completing the routine backup.
• Scanning vulnerability and strengthening the security of operating systems and network services.

4. Your Rights

Unless otherwise provided by laws, you may exercise the rights to Microprogram as the data subject:

• Make an inquiry of and to review the personal data or request a copy thereof, provided that the Company may charge any necessary costs and expenses.
• If your personal data are changed or your personal data are found incorrect, you may request with “Microprogram” for supplementation or correction, provided that you must provide proper explanation.
• When the purposes for which the personal data are collected extinguishes or the time limit for such personal data expires, you may request deletion, discontinued processing or utilization of your personal data, unless it is necessary for “Microprogram” to keep the data in order to perform job duties or execute business.

5. Cross-border transfer

As stated in Article 3 herein, the personal data, device record and cookie record collected by the “Service” from you are provided to “Microprogram” for its internal use only. All communications involving personal data will be transferred directly or across borders in the encrypted environment connected with the safe Internet, such as SSL or HTTPS. All communications are protected with SSL 2048-bit or TLS 256-bit encryption to ensure the security of data throughout the transfer.

6. Information About Privacy Policy

“Microprogram” reserves the right to amend the Privacy Policy at any time. If there is any change in the Policy, “Microprogram” will release it on the Service in a timely manner. “Microprogram” will release any material change in a prominent manner. The change shall be effective as of the date when the change is disclosed. Should you disagree to any change in the Privacy Policy, you may cease to access the “Service” and delete your account.
